The MSM Thunder competed at Sectionals on Sunday, February 8, breaking school records in three races.

Junior Kim Fohrd placed third at the Sectional meet, qualifying for the State Relay team. She ran a personal best time of 5:00.1 in the 1500m race. Fohrd was injured in the first 100 meters of the race when she was spiked by another athlete.
