The Academic Learning Center (ALC) is a place where students can come for a structured, learning-focused study hall. Students who are having difficulty with any subject can visit the ALC for academic reinforcement or resources to support them in their learning. Additionally, the ALC accommodates students’ needs with IEP’s or 504’s, including testing and instructional accommodations.
Other services the ALC provides include:
- Resources to improve individual studying and test-taking skills and strategies
- Special Education services (coordinated with Kenmore-Tonawanda schools)
- Organizational and time management strategies
- Multi-subject resource support utilizing technology such as iPad apps, Apple TV, and study games
