Let’s do Business: Entreprenuership Camp
Do you love using your creativity? Do you dream big ideas? Do you ever watch Shark Tank and think, “I could do that someday!”? If this sounds like you, then our “Let’s Do Business” camp will help you get started in building your own enterprise. We’ll discover how successful brands and companies begin (spoiler alert: it’s all about recognizing great ideas) and use the Design for Delight creativity process to ignite your start-up business. You’ll work with members of Mount St. Mary Academy’s award-winning Academy Scholars entrepreneurship program throughout the week, with a business pitch showcase on the final day.

Telling True Stories: Journalism & Public Speaking Camp
You can be a skilled writer who loves to search for exactly the right word, or an enthusiastic speaker who’s comfortable with a microphone in hand, telling a story. Ultimately, the talents you need to be a great journalist and a great storyteller are the same: You ask curious questions, listen closely, absorb fascinating details, and tell important stories. Campers will spend time offsite, interviewing and meeting with various changemakers/Buffalo leaders. A travel waiver for transportation will be required.

Creating Change: A Leadership & Creativity Camp
When you see problems or challenges in the world, do you wish that you could do something about them? You can. In this camp, we’ll use fun scenarios to help you discover and practice using the common traits of great leaders – solving the core problem, making tough decisions, and more. You’ll also learn and try some of the creativity techniques used by iconic creators and inventors, such as experimenting with ideas and seeking unusual combinations. You’ll build your confidence as a leader and feel more ready to recognize challenges and take action.

Cooking Camp
Want tricks and tips from a real chef?  Learn firsthand how to make restaurant-style appetizers and side dishes that are both tasty and turn heads! (Please avoid this class if you have food allergies.)  Each student will also receive their very own recipe book with the week's menu/recipes! This camp fills up quickly, register today!
STEAM Camp
Create, make and learn! Our STEAM camp will allow our future Mounties to learn more about the different ways STEAM can be applied and put into action with fun hands-on projects!
