Mount St. Mary Academy is now working with Catholic Relief Services as a Global High School. With the guidance of CRS, we will be working to educate and mobilize our students to be advocates for high priority issues like poverty-focused international assistance, human trafficking, climate change and the pursuit of peace.
Ms. Monica Saltarelli, MSM’s Campus Minister, will be advising students in advocacy training and activities that our students can do to help those in need.
Mount St. Mary Academy’s work with the CRS will be a school-wide collaboration, including upcoming projects such as Operation Rice Bowl to address world hunger and continued emphasis on human trafficking. As a school, we are working to assist our sister school run by the Sisters of St. Mary of Namur in Rwanda.
MSM is the first all girls school in Buffalo to become a Global High School with CRS.
