Dear friends and Chrysalis guests,

As you know, out of an abundance of care and concern for the health of our community amidst this COVID-19 outbreak and in accordance with the guidelines set forth by our state and local leaders, we made the very difficult decision to postpone Chrysalis, our single most important fundraiser. While it was not the situation any of us had envisioned or hoped for, we appreciate the many messages of support and encouragement we have received from guests and donors.

In the spirit of looking to the future and providing for the needs of our students, we are happy to let you know that we have set a new date for Chrysalis — June 11, 2020 at 5:30 p.m., still at The Wurlitzer. Though a Thursday evening event was not in our original plans, we’re confident that a celebration of all things Mount St. Mary (along with delicious food, drinks and wonderful auction items) will be just the way to start off a summer weekend a little bit early. We remain prepared to adapt, however, and will continue to monitor the fluid health crisis and reevaluate if necessary, prioritizing the well-being of our community.

Your reservation has been held over for you for our rescheduled event, and all earlier online bidding with the exception of the few items that were purchased through the “Buy Now” option will be reset in fairness to everyone. All table sponsorships and ads will automatically be applied to the rescheduled gala. All donations will be used for the new June 11th date. If your donation was time sensitive, we will soon have an online auction for those items, such as front row graduation seats, etc.
