After falling behind by 90 pins after the first game, the bowling team bounced back with two huge games to capture their third consecutive Monsignor Martin All Catholic Championship.
During the regular season the Thunder finished in 5th place but the girls proved where they should be by out scoring Immaculata (1st seed) by 122 pins and Mount Mercy (2nd seed) by 124.
The Thunder won the All Catholic Championship with an 1844 three game set, topping second place finisher, Mount Mercy, by 124 pins. This was the Thunder’s second best 3 game series ( best was 1909) of the year. Congratulations to all of our bowlers on winning the championship and a great season!
