Mount St. Mary Academy is gearing up for its 6th Annual Summer Music Festival featuring the Super Cruise Car Show, a meat raffle and much more on Saturday, Aug. 25, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
The festival will include:
MSM band performances
pizza taste-off contest
beer and wine tent
Classic car fans will enjoy the Super Cruise Car Show which begins at 11 a.m. on the front lawn of the school featuring music by a local DJ.
A Pizza Taste off Contest begins at 1 p.m. featuring Banchetti by Rizzo’s, Mike’s Subs, Just Pizza, DiPaulo’s Pizzeria, Besta Pizza and John’s Pizza & Subs on Delaware Avenue. Festival attendees may purchase a taster’s ticket for $5, sample over 12 types of pizza and vote on the best one.
A meat raffle will be held at 3 p.m. outside under a tent featuring a variety of quality meats. Admission to the raffle tent is $5 and includes beer and pop.
A Chiavetta’s BBQ meal also kicks off at 3 p.m. for dine-in or take-out orders for $10.
The Mount St. Mary Academy Jazz Ensemble, Marching Band and Dance Team will be performing throughout the day on the front lawn.
The evening will conclude with a performance by the award-winning Mount St. Mary Academy Marching Band at 5:30 p.m.
Northtown Lexus, River Grill and Banchetti by Rizzo’s sponsor this event.
The festival will be held on the front lawn of the school. Admission is free. Guests are asked to bring a lawn chair or blanket. In the event of rain, festivities will be staged inside the school.
