The Thunder continued to roll yesterday as they defeated Nardin Academy 14 to 7 to move to 10-1 on the season. The Thunder started out slow but managed to pick up speed as the half ended and carried the momentum into the second half. During the game, Senior Captain Olivia Macdonald, scored her 100th goal of her career. The goal was her first of the game from Catie Meegan who had a quick pass to Olivia who rolled the crease and scored top shelf!
Olivia Macdonald became only the fourth lacrosse player in school history to join the “100 Goal Club” Olivia finished the game with 4 goals and 1 assist. Currently, Olivia is fourth in all time scoring for Mount St. Mary Lacrosse with 103 career goals with six games remaining in the season. Current 100 Goal Club Members include: Sara (Slovick) Eaton ’07 – 161 goals, Shannon Pelitera ’13 – 132 goals, and Jordan Gerst ’09 – 104 goals.
