Junior Lillian Mueller has earned double honors for her volleyball play this year. In addition to earning 1st Team All-Catholic, she was named 2nd Team All-Western New York for small schools. Mueller played a key role in helping the Thunder secure a 3rd place finish in the league. She has some very impressive statistics that support her high honors.
Mueller led the team in service aces with 59 and secured the highest serving percentage on the team at 89.5%. In addition to her tremendous serving percentage, she earned the highest scoring percentage off of serves. To add to her offensive stats, she finished the season with 94 kills.
Additionally, Mueller was a consistent contributor in the back row for the Thunder and supported the team with strong defensive skills. Her team was dependent on her passing abilities with 84 perfect serve receptions on the season. She was a go-to player to turn the momentum of the set with a huge dig.
Mueller was awarded MVP honors for her Thunder team. She is additionally a member of the Mount’s bowling team and plays for the Niagara Frontier Volleyball Club. We look forward to having her amazing talents return to the 2017 roster.
