Mount St. Mary Academy is hosting an Open House for prospective students in grades 5-8 and their parents on Sunday, October 4th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Monday, October 5th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will allow guests to experience our academic and co-curricular programs, as well as learn about scholarships and financial assistance.

The annual Open House will be smaller, more personalized, and executed with the utmost safety precautions this year. To maintain social distancing, follow State and local health guidelines, and ensure the safety of all attendees, reservations will be required. In 2019, Mount St. Mary announced that we would no longer offer New York State Regents exams as our form of final assessment, opting instead for robust, comprehensive assessments that include capstone projects, written reports, group presentations, research papers, as well as traditional examinations. Mount St. Mary has opened to full-day, in-person learning for students for the 2020-21 school year.

Mount St. Mary Academy offers rigorous coursework in a nurturing setting. Students may challenge themselves with Advanced Placement, Dual Enrollment or Honors-level coursework, engage in the school’s award-winning entrepreneurship program, participate in one of the 21 different sports teams or robust Fine Arts program, or join one of dozens of clubs and activities.
