Mount St. Mary Academy senior Lois Garlow recently scored her 200th career lacrosse goal in a Thunder Varsity Lacrosse game.

Lois came into her senior year having scored 95 goals and 52 assists in her junior season alone and with 144 career goals overall. Her 200th career goal was scored in the first half of a league game against Nardin Academy on Saturday, April 13 at Larkin Field, leading to the team’s fourth victory.

The Thunder Varsity Lacrosse team has a 5-0 league record for the season so far with the next game scheduled for Monday, April 29 at 4:30 p.m. at Lincoln Park vs. Buffalo Seminary. Lois has 215 career goals and 159 career assists heading into Monday’s game.

The MSM lacrosse team has played in the Monsignor Martin League finals every year for the past 15 years and holds 10 championships.

Also a Thunder Varsity Basketball starter, Lois scored her 1,000th point in her senior season, ending her high school career with 1,088 points. (For Thunder athletics – 454 points her junior year and 415 her senior year. Lois earned the remaining points playing for her high school in Utah for her freshman and sophomore seasons.)

Lois signed a National Letter of Intent in the fall of 2018 to play Division I lacrosse at Coastal Carolina University after she graduates from Mount St. Mary Academy in June 2019.
