The public district is offering a continuation of daily Breakfast/Lunch Services for students age 18 and under during this extended closure. Grab-and-go breakfast and lunch will be available at five locations — the Sheridan Parkside Youth Center, the Northtowns Boys and Girls Club, Holmes Elementary, Hoover Elementary, and Franklin Elementary.

In order to minimize person-to-person contact, breakfast/lunch will be served every other day on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays beginning Wednesday, March 25. Families will still be provided meals for each day of the week, but will only pick up their meals on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. There will be no breakfast/lunch pick-up on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Thursday, March 26.

This means that, on Wednesday, March 25, families will be provided breakfast/lunch meals for two days, and there will be no breakfast/lunch pick-up the following day on Thursday, March 26. This change will apply to all pick-up locations.

This is being done in order to minimize person-to-person contact and reduce the risk of exposure for students, families, and staff while still providing families access to breakfast/lunch for each day of the week. For more information on breakfast/lunch, click here: Breakfast/Lunch Information

Regardless of what school the student attends (i.e. a nonpublic school), any family member is eligible to pick up the meals at their preferred location at no cost, and we encourage all families to take advantage of this opportunity.

St. Amelia School (2999 Eggert Road, Tonawanda, NY) is offering a daily free weekday lunch program 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with lunches offered to teens and kids ages 18 and under. Meals are for takeout only.
