Mount St. Mary Academy will host its 24th annual Chrysalis Auction on April 6, 2019, with a vibrant and summery Lilly Pulitzer-inspired theme. Buffalo might be hanging on to winter, but as Pulitzer once said, “It’s always summer somewhere!”
Chrysalis is co-chaired by Margaret Liegl Culliton ’69 of East Amherst and her daughters Megan Culliton Gomez ’96 of Buffalo, and Elizabeth Culliton Attea ’00 of East Amherst.
The event, beginning at 5 p.m. at the all-girls college preparatory school campus, will bring together friends of the school from across the area and even the country. Women and men representing many generations of the Mount St. Mary family will gather to support the school and the empowering education it stands for.
Chrysalis, started in 1995, is Mount St. Mary Academy’s keystone fundraising event, an occasion that is as exciting as it is worthwhile. The funds raised provide for new programs and equipment, make way for improvements to the facility, as well as help to bridge the gap between tuition and our operating budget.
This is sure to be a wonderful social event, a night of culinary delights, upbeat fun and an opportunity to procure wonderful gifts, services, personal items and travel – all for a good cause. The nature of the auction process allows everyone associated with the event to choose their individual comfort zone and participate at whatever level they choose.
Chrysalis is proud to partner with our sponsors Moog Inc., GHD Consulting Services, Inc., Benchmark Management Corp., M&T Bank, and Innovative Mechanical Systems, Inc. Additional supporters include Gelia, Zenger Group, Nationwide Retirement Plans, IPv4 Market Group, and United Business Systems, Inc.
Tickets for the auction are $100 per person and include cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, live and silent auctions, and dinner by Banchetti by Rizzo’s. Tickets and raffle tickets can be purchased online at www.msmacademy.org/donate/chrysalis/ticket-purchase.
