A Mount St. Mary education is a solid investment in your daughter’s future. Tuition for the 2020-2021 school year is $12,970 plus administrative fees of $535. Freshmen will require a $400 fee for a Microsoft Surface, insurance and apps. Financial aid is available in several ways:
Eighth graders who choose Mount St. Mary Academy as their first choice for high school are eligible for dozens of scholarships and awards we offer.
Some scholarships are application-based. These awards, which vary in value, recognize a variety of criteria, such as: leadership, service, grades, desire to attend Mount St. Mary, etc. Some also take financial need into account. All application-based awards are given to first-choice test takers after they complete the High School Placement Test in November. Students may apply for every scholarship for which they believe they are eligible, based on the stated criteria.
Other scholarships are awarded based on placement exam results. There is no separate application for these awards, and they vary in value from half tuition to partial tuition awards for all four years.
Information for the Oishei Application can be found here: Oishei Application
Note: Please use the MSM Admissions Office as a valuable resource in completing the Oishei High School Scholars Application.
Mount St. Mary Academy is dedicated to and firmly supports Catholic Education. A 25% discount will be applied to the tuition accounts of those families who have at least one parent who is a full-time employee at a Catholic Elementary School, a Catholic High School or a Catholic Church. Discounts are also given to families with more than one daughter attending our school. Discount determinations will be made at the discretion of the School Administration in conjunction with the policies set forth by the Board of Trustees.
Financial aid grants are awarded based on financial need. Limited funds are available for incoming and current students each year.

WorkStudy Program (new)
Your daughter’s health and safety is our top priority along with that of our staff. We have carefully evaluated our WorkStudy Program in conjunction with the recommendations from the CDC and our local Department of Health, and have made the difficult decision to place this program on hiatus for the 2020-21 school year. This includes the Summer 2020 WorkStudy Program. We feel strongly that this will help curb the spread of Covid-19 and keep all students and staff as safe as possible.
We know that some families depend on WorkStudy earnings to help defray their education costs. To that end, we have increased our financial aid awards to help compensate those families who would have been offered WorkStudy positions. If you are an incoming freshman family and were awarded a WorkStudy position, your financial aid award has been adjusted to reflect this change. Returning families’ awards have been adjusted for those who would have been awarded a position in our WorkStudy program.
