The Academic Learning Center (ALC) is a place where students can come for a structured study hall, which is always quiet and learning-focused. Students who are having difficulty with any subject can come to the ALC for extra help or resources to support them in their learning. Additionally, the ALC accommodates all students’ needs with IEP’s or 504’s including testing and instructional accommodations.
Other services that the ALC provides include:
- Tutoring in all subject areas by National Honors Society students and retired teacher volunteers
- Special Education services
- Multi-subject resource support utilizing technology such as iPad apps, Apple TV, and study games
- SAT word of the day to boost vocabulary skills
