Mount St. Mary Academy is proud to present Summer Sessions 2017 for girls entering grades 5-8. The program, running from August 7 – 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the school, will include a combination of athletic, arts and educational sessions.
The camp offers two morning sessions and two afternoon sessions during which students participate in classes geared towards hands-on learning and active play. The weeklong event allows campers to mingle with other girls their own age in a fun learning environment.
Morning classes include: Dance with Disney, Hello Cupcake!, Funology, Full STEAM Ahead, Red Carpet Reporting, Dodgeball, and more. In the afternoon, participants may choose: Olympic-style games, Wearable Art, Acts of Local Service, Steal the Scene, Art Journal, Digital Photography, and more.
The camp costs $195 per child and includes a t-shirt and all necessary supplies and materials for each of the sessions.
Additional athletic camps will be held throughout July, including Volleyball (June 26-30), Lacrosse (July 17-21), Tennis (July 31- August 4), and Basketball (August 1-3). MSM will also offer Theater Camp (July 31-Aug 4), taught by Second Generation Theater Co-founder Kelly Copps, and Entrepreneurship Camp (June 26-30), hosted by Mount St. Mary Academy’s award-winning Virtual Enterprises.
